Writing a Rap Song: Verse 2

After we talk about how important the first verse was because you don't ever want your first verse to just so out shine your second verse; it?s obvious. On your second verse, you just want to calm down, get into a cool place, and maybe write something with a little more catchiness to it this time. Songs are way more than sixteen bars, hook; sixteen bars, hook; sixteen bars...You got to have something...I'm going to teach ya'll more and more about this as we continue on but, there's a lot just going on. You got an intro, you got a outro, you got to have bridges, maybe a place where the beat drops. I mean, I'm teaching ya'll how to write a rap song right now man. This is priceless information.
