Using Your Shins in Martial Arts

Hi. Welcome back. Now, let's talk about the body part below the knee. That's the shin. The shin bone, it's very powerful. It's quite equivalent to the forearm. But, there's a problem. There are some nerves right here. If you know how to break them, this can be a very very severe troublesome weakness. Most kickers, they use this as a weapon. Especially, Mui Tai. Because, huge bone. You don't see the muscle, muscles completely right here. Muscle pushes the bone and turns the bones into a weapon. But, how am I going to turn it into a weakness? Most people don't like this. Take a look. Look at this. Lucky me, he has the shin guards. If he has no shin guards, he's in trouble. Now, take a look at the kick. We do it low. If he is trying to kick me with the shin. Look at this, this is the shin. Now, kick. Now, use this one. Throw it. Boom. Again. Boom. Shin can be a powerful weapon. But unluckily, if I turn shin to a weapon from a weapon to a weakness. Take a look. It's coming. It's coming. Who is hurting who? You tell me. If you know kicking, thank god he has this. He has this. Not just this part. Can you imagine, that if someone throwing a front kick and a side kick right in the shin? The shin bone is going to crack. Most of kickers, they kick with the shin bone. But, be very very careful. When you try to use the skin bone, you better generate all the power from your hip. If you're just using your thigh, it's going to crack. It's definitely going to crack. Because, the nerves are going to breakdown soon.
