Using Your Shoulders in Martial Arts

Good. Hi, everybody. Now, let's move down south to San Diego. No, I'm just kidding. From the head down to the shoulders. Now, take a look. This shoulder is round, muscular. We can treat it as a weapon. Don't you believe that? Now, bump me. Now, again. Now, this time send me to the table. Most of football players, use this part. Now, how about the front portion. Football players still use those. Take a look. Again. Now, what is he doing. Take a look, this is the subject. Boom. If this is my face, if this is the face it goes that way. Especially, when someone is skillful enough to use the front portion of the shoulder. Take a look. From here, from here. Would it feel good? Would it feel good if my shoulder was landing on your nose? Most of the traditional fighters, they love this. They love this technique. Now, how about the back of the shoulder. The back of the shoulder, for example I'm right here and he using that one to bump me back. Again. Boom. Again. Boom. Shoulders are weapons. But, how about if I said shoulders are the weakness? Take a look. Hey, touch me right here. Look at this. We just poke right here between joints. This is the muscle. You go for it. Now, next one right here. Of course, there is no weakness. There's no weakness. For this part, you've got to chop. You have to chop right here. These are the points. These are the weak points. Because, the scapula is a piece of big bone. And, if you don't know it you can check a chicken. This part of scapula is very stiff but sensitive. You see this? Every time you poke or you can use this type of fist. We will be moving onto the fist. Once, your pounding onto this part of the scapula that person is going to scream. If you don't believe that, you can try it. But, do not do it to your friends. Thank you.
