In this clip, we're going to talk about the proper way to flush your cooling system. In this step, we're going to go over the proper procedure for unhooking our hoses and removing our back flow valve, and reinstalling the cap. What I'm going to do is unscrew my back flow valve from the hose, take it off the vehicle, and set it to the side for now. Unscrew the vehicle side of the back flow valve and set that aside for later use. I'm going to go ahead and remove my splash deflector tube from the radiator, slide the hose out of it, and set these guys aside as well. That is the proper way to disconnect the flushing system from your vehicle.
