About Red Tea Leaves

Okay, I want to tell you about another drink that is not officially tea because it doesn't come from the tea plant. It comes from a plant called aspalathus linearis in South Africa. And it's called ruibus or red tea. Now I have a sample of it right here for you to look at. As you can see it's got a little bit different consistency than the other teas I've shown you and a very unique color. You can see why it's called red tea. And ruibus is an excellent choice if you're looking to drink something that you brew or steep for health benefits because it actually has more antioxidants in it than any other drink on the planet and it's caffeine free, 100% caffeine free. Not just a little caffeine content like your green and white teas but it has no caffeine. It also doesn't get bitter as you steep it longer. So you can steep it for up to 10 minutes and you're just going to unlock more and more of those healthy antioxidants and other chemical compounds that are inside the ruibus.
