The Back Stance in Kung Fu

Hi, welcome back again. Now let's talk about another stance. We call it back stance. Remember that in a previous clip we talk about front stance. And not only that, we are standing on two tracks. Remember, if you standing in one line you are in trouble. Therefore, in front stance you set your feet in two tracks. Now, we are going to meet the brother of front stance. It's called back stance. Now you see this? I mention about the knee, when you open up your knee it goes to the back stance. Again, it goes to back stance. This is a weapon, we will talk about it in tai chi. It's a weapon, especially for close contact. Now, watch back stance. Now, when you are in back stance or when you see your opponent standing in back stance, let me tell you 100% you assume that he's not going to kick with the rear leg. He should be good kicker. Tae kwon do. They love this, they love this. Look at this. When I'm in back stance everything is so light, and when it comes to block. But remember roundhouse kick. When it comes to roundhouse kick back stance is good. But if you turn it to the side it smack right on your back. It can be a danger. So think about it. Front and back. Front and back. But there's a techniques in kung fu in tae kwon do. In the fighting we swing back, the leg goes in. We will talk about that is self-defense techniques. But now watch this again. And when you stand in this position for example, someone is going to sweep my leg. Someone is going to grab the legs. From here. This is so convenient if you are preparing yourself for the kicking with the front leg. Now see front position, round position, front position, round position. We will talk about legs in a later chapter. Thank you.
