The Front Stance in Kung Fu

So when it comes to stances I really don't recommend you to use them especially those classical stance. They won't be applicable in modern fighting. But when it come to weapon it will become very useful so stay with me. Here comes the front stance. Why are they standing like this? Because in the old day all the soldier has a weapon. They got to poke. Therefore, this, prolong the distance. Especially they have spear. They have to poke. But in the real street fight if you punch like this you're going to be in big trouble. Now take a look. Now, let's go for the traditional style. When the legs stop, hands stop, legs stop, hands stop backward. Why am I asking you to draw a circle with your feet? Because if you study Judo you know what's going on with the leg part. As long as you are able to pick this part up that means you can shift your balance between yin and yang, easier for you to balance it. So now one more time from here. So, we will call this front stance. Can really work on your body coordination. But remember don't use this one on the street self-defense, it's not going to help you. Thank you.
