Tools for Replacing a Starter Solenoid

In this clip we're going to talk about the proper service procedure in order to diagnose, remove and replace your vehicles starter solenoid. In this step we're going to talk about the tools required in order to remove and replace your starter solenoid. What I have here on top of the engine is my standard and metric socket set, I have a couple extras in the middle there. I have of course my replacement starter solenoid, a heavy duty test light, we're going to use that to check all of our electrical connections, and my magnetic tray to hold any retaining bolts that we remove. These are the tools required in order to replace your starter solenoid.
