In this clip, we're going to be talking about to properly use the Leslie controls. The fast and the slow, when you're playing a song or when you're playing with a band and everything else. It's just that it's a great little dramatic technique to be playing slow and to turn the Leslie on and to turn it to fast. It just heightens the energy and the emotion of it. And, the same thing to when you're turning it from the fast to the slow. It goes from the vibrato kind of thing to a more smooth sound. And, sometimes you might even want to just kind of make turn on and turn it back off real quick. And, it just gives a little hint of this. It's another dynamic tool that you can use. And, I'm going to show you an example of how you can use it to heighten the drama. What I'll do is play a set of chord changes that will be kind of like a verse. And, then I'll bring it up into a chorus. And, when I bring it up into the chorus you'll see how the making the Leslie spin faster. Setting it to the fast setting, just makes it that much more dramatic. Notice how the drama increases. And, you just get this dramatic sense when the Leslie speeds up. There you have it.
