How to Play Gospel Hammond Organ

In this clip, we're going to be talking about how to get a really gospely sound. It's not just the perfect rock and roll organ. It's the perfect gospel organ. And, it's as simple as using the lowest draw bar and the highest draw bar. There are lots of variations that we could start on. But, let's just start with that. Let me get the Leslie rocking on it. But, you can just go. You know, now what I typically will do is add in the second to lowest draw bar. And, then maybe a couple of these guys up here. So, it's. So, you know you adjust the sound depending on how much high end how much low end you'll want. Let's put a little bit more high end in there. It's got some soul. You don't even have to have really that much soul to play it. You just get the sound right and it does all the work for you.
