Hi my name is Sonia Gjokaj. I'm the owner of Gjokaj makeup and I'm here with Expert village to talk to you about makeup for production. Lighting can really affect the talent's skin color, it depends if your lighting is cooler or warmer, you might have to check in with lighting crew what type of light they're going to be using. I often personally like to check on the monitor to get a really good idea of how the lighting is affecting the talent's makeup. And then you can sort of correct that towards or with the lighting. You really don't want and you want to either to look too orange too bluish. You also want to make sure that their skin does not look to pale and that can sometimes be over exposure or just choosing the wrong product. You really want the talent skin to look as close to they would while looking at them in natural light. Now we're actually in natural lighting and the only things I might would have changed is to perhaps go a little lighter handed on Shaina and really blend well. Just because natural lighting will reveal everything and that goes as well for when you're ever in a situation where it's going to be shot in high definition then also you really, really, really can see every little flaw or makeup mistake so really have to make sure that you blend and blend and blend.
