Finishing Tips for Walking Cane
Okay. We took our angle grinder and just gently touched and ran it up and down this just kind of random that will give it that kind of funky, old timey look. I took the angle grinder and ground those plugs down so that they're smooth and I also ground down the top. That's got a little bit of an edge on it, but I'm going to take that off in our next step. The handle is tilted a little bit but that's okay because it gives a little better grip and it gives the person the option of holding it this way or this way and I also ground off a little more of the bark on this handle because I want that to be good and smooth so that it's real friendly to the hand and I'm going to get the smoothing touch off on that with my palm sander and we'll sand this a little bit and make it nice and smooth and then we'll take care of this little crack around the bottom here and I'll show you what I'm going to do with that.
