Drilling Hole in Walking Cane Shaft
Ok. Now, I've set the body of the cane in my little vice here; got it pretty tight. We'll set this piece on in the slot and get it pretty much in the middle. About there will do. And, you just got to kind of hold this still. Take your drill and drill through the first hole and down into the cane. That should be far enough. That's pretty close to the length. We'll try putting the screw in now. But, if it starts to get hard to screw it in we'll have to back it out and make the hole a little deeper. But, let's see if this one works.
