Marking Handle Cut for Walking Cane
Ok. I'm going to hold the handle part of the cane against the shaft here. So, that it's about half way. Half of it is sticking up, half of it down on the cane itself. And, holding it as steady as I can I'm going to mark around the bottom and the side. That ought to be pretty good. Our next step is to take the skill saw. I've put a large blade in this. This blade is a little bit thicker. And, it has a little bit more body to it. And, that will help to keep it from wiggling around the wood while I'm cutting. And, what I'm going to do is cut down to here, down to here, down to here three or four slits down the shaft of the cane.
