Marking Handle for Walking Cane

Ok. Now, that we've cut off the cane to its proper length. The part that we cut off is going to be the handle. So, I'm just going to lay this chunk up here and eyeball it a little bit. See what's a nice place for, kind of this one has a nice knot in it. So, I'm going to keep that. And, looks like about this much will be good for a handle. So, I'm going to make a little mark here. And, go to the chop saw and cut off this part. It ought to be ok. Ok. Here's the handle part. So, now that we have these two. The next step is to cut the body of the cane, so it will let this handle fit down into it a little bit. For that, I'm going to use a skill saw.
