The Flying Lunge Fencing Technique

Hi! I'm Mike Elder, head coach and general manager for the Miami Fencing Club; that's www.miamifencingclub.com. We meet weekday evenings in South Miami and Saturday afternoon at Miami Day College. Fencing provides an excellent low impact aerobic workout for athletes aged 8 to 80. It's an Olympic sport. The oldest of Olympic sports played today. Mike and Jose are going to demonstrate some savor fences. Savor is the most athletic of all the three different types of fencing weapons. Because of the speed of the game, they need to be very careful for the distance. So what they're going to demonstrate now is they;re going to try to show you what very explosive looking attack. The attack is called a lunge. An especially effective king of lunge called a flying lunge. A flying lunge or a flung in savor. Let's go, ready. All right. On behalf of expertvillage.com, thanks for watching.
