Now we have the questions for the franchisor. You as the franchisee will need to call the franchisor to find out what's involved in having a franchise and what they offer. So you would typically call the franchisor, they will have assigned to you a representative or a marketing person that will go over with you the details of the franchise; what's involved; how much money is involved in the investment; what territories you would have; what type of support they would give you initially; what you would purchase from them; how long, which is usually a five or ten year time period which you would have the exclusive rights. Or if it's non exclusive, of course they'll tell you that. They basically are going to probably do a profile on you. They may use a third party. They'll ask you to take a test. They want to make sure that you have the background personality that will fit the franchise that they offer. They're trying to match up. They want you to be successful. It's important that you use this person to get the questions answered that you need. This person has great knowledge, they're wanting to sell you on their franchise, this is when they're going to be open to really answer your questions.
