How the Yawning Singing Method for Singing

Hello, my name is Yessenia Balan, and on behalf of Expert Village, I'm going to talk about the proper techniques for singing. Now, as you're doing that, you actually are projecting the sound into the cavities depending on the tone, if it's higher or lower pitch. You'll also notice that your throat is very relaxed. And that's exactly how you want it to feel when you're singing. The same type of feel as when you're doing a yawn. So try it one more time with me. You may notice that I'm using my hands as we do that exercise and the reason is because I'm trying to help my body understand that the air that's coming out of my lungs is coming out of my throat very relaxed and out through the correct passages. And initially it will be my nasal cavity and then down to my chest for the lower tones.
