Breathing Method for Singing

Hello, my name is Yesenia Balan, and on behalf of Expert Village, I'm going to talk about the proper techniques for singing. Another fun way, especially if you're trying to teach a kid how to breathe correctly is tell him to imagine they're holding a great big milkshake, or whatever their favorite drink is. And imagine that you have a big straw connected to that big drink that you like to drink. And you just sip in, just like you were drinking from that big straw. So you sip in. And again, you can feel the abdominal area expand because of the air filling up the lungs. You breathe in, in the big straw, like this. Again. OK, and breathe in. And that's the sip of a big straw.
