Singing Chin & Shoulder Posture

The first thing you need to learn from singing is how to stand properly. Stand straight up and you want to have your head parallel to the floor. You want to have your shoulders relaxed. Do not have them too far back or your chest sticking out too far. Simply roll your shoulders back and in a natural position. By having your shoulders back and relaxed you allow for the abdomen to be expanded properly.
