The length of the gown is important. Today we see a lot of bridesmaid's dresses that are tea length. And this is a really nice innovation for bridesmaids. It does create a little bit of a question with the formality and the choice then for the mothers in the wedding. So as your thinking of this, you might think in terms of both mothers wearing long if the wedding is very formal. In thinking about what length you should select, floor length is always very appropriate. Especially if there's a formal wedding gown. And we have a number of varieties of selections here of formal gowns that are floor length. The formality will be determined by a number of different things that we're going to talk about a little bit later, but if you want this to be a rather formal wedding, you should go ahead and select a floor length gown, and then let the other mother know that she should select a floor length gown. You want to look like you got invited to the same party.
