How to Rekey a Door LockHi. I'm Mark Sullivan for Expert Village and today we're going to show you how to change the lock on your commercial steel door. Now we are ready to take these over to the locksmith and have them re-key these two cylinders. So, now we have gone to the locksmith and we got the two cylinders-rekeyed. They just put new tumblers in here and re-keyed it. We have a bunch of new keys and we're going to now put the lock back in and we're going to take our keys and going to put some identifying markings on the keys. So, we're going to put the lock back in now.
