Searing Beef and Adding Tomato Sauce for a Tagine

Hi, my name is Gina McCloud from Kitchen Connoisseur and today on behalf of Expert Village, we're going to prepare a traditional Moroccan dish known as beef and acorn squash tajean. You want to toss the meat around, again just browning it. You want the juices to stay right in the meat. When the meat is nicely browned, you're ready to add the sun ripened tomato sauce. What I'd like to do so that you make sure you get it all, is I take and empty the jar with a spatula, and I stir that around. And while that's cooking, I just take and add the water right to the jar, and then shake the jar, so that you get the entire tomato flavor, and then you can pour that right in.
