The first exercise we're going to do is a slow crunch. This is really going to warm up the abdominal walls and really prepare your ab muscles for our great workout that we have planned ahead. A slow crunch is basically a regular crunch, but we're going to do it super slow. We're going to count four counts up and four counts down. We're going to make sure we're breathing, lower back stays on the mat. Our legs are bent and they're about hip-width apart. Lie back. Hands are at your head. You want to make sure you're not grappling your head, and you want to keep your arms open as you come up. This really engages the ab muscles when we do it this way. We're going to count four counts up, 1, 2, 3, 4. Four counts down, 1, 2, 3, 4. We're going to keep going, breathing, and we're going to keep it smooth. I'm going to do 25 sets of these. After you do 25 sets of those, you'll really feel the ab muscles. You'll really feel them, so keep going, do 25. Slowly up, slowly down, and then we'll do the next thing.
