I will demonstrate now how to utilize this plate jointer in a very basic function. Which is to join two plates together. Before you do, make sure that the tool is plugged properly. All the safety features are on and are enabled. Make sure you have your safety glasses on. The first thing, what you do, you line up your plates where you want them to be. You make one simple mark across with your pencil. Because we are dealing with a 3/4 material we need to adjust our base to the 3/4 depth. You unlock the level. You go to 3/8ths of an inch which is half of 3/4. You lock it back into place. On the base you will notice a line and this is the center of your blade and also of your mark. You will line up this mark exactly on the first mark like so. This will give you the first cut. You do exactly the same on the other side. And now because we had it at zero depth. We can utilize a zero biscuit. You apply the glue in between those and you create one straight surface. Thank you.
