How to Check a Spare Tire
Hi! This is John on behalf of expertvillage.com. In this video clip, I will be taking you through step 8 for changing a flat tire. The last thing that we need to do is test the tire to make sure that it is securely on our vehicle. Again if it tilts out or makes any funny noises, we might want to recheck all of our lug nuts that it is sitting squarely. The last thing that I like to do is drive it just a few feet and recheck the tire to make sure that everything is working properly. If you are a parent and your son or daughter has a vehicle, a great exercise is to have them go through the procedures of changing a flat tire. It not only kind of gets them acquainted with their vehicle as far as where that spare tire is and how to use the equipment, but it also gives them that ability to change a flat tire in case they need to someday.
