Creating Harmony for a Rap Beat

This is Jose Caban. Mac OSX, Reason and Cue Bass are registered trademarks with their respective companies and I am in no way affiliated with Apple, Propellerhead or Steinberg. Ok so now we've got our drums, we've got our basic melody. I think so far with what we have with the beat it's so choppy and it's so much thump thump thump that I think we probably could use a little bit something more melodic and smooth to accent our main lead. So let's play our main lead which is going to be this right here, that's the main lead. Now for the sound we've chosen ok now I'm thinking something that's going to be like... Ok so something like that is what I think right. OK so we've got that in their as midi data again we get to change it to anything we want, because it's not straight audio. And when we mix it all together I think we're really going to come up with some good stuff that we like.
