Kneeling Back Stretch

The next stretch I'm going to show you is a back stretch. You may if you have taken yoga class; you may have seen this stretch in your yoga class as well. I'm going to have you start on your knees. And from this position, this is called the child's pose in yoga. All you're going to do is bring your arms out in front of you, and you're going to reach out. And just keep your head; keep looking toward the floor. And you want to think about reaching out for it; elongating your spine. So you can feel this stretch in your Lats. And you can switch it up a little bit also by reaching toward your left, coming back to center, and then reaching towards your right, a very very relaxing, refreshing stretch. And now you can go from that stretch to another back stretch which is called the cat stretch. You?re going to be up on all fours. And from here, you're going to pull in those abdominals. Press into the ground and round out that upper back, while tilting your pelvis forward and under. Press, round out those shoulder blades. And then release. Once again, round out that, round out your shoulders, that upper body. And you'll feel that stretch in your upper back.
