Tools for Changing a Flat TireHi! This is John on behalf of expertvillage.com. In this video clip, I will talk about step 1 of replacing a flat tire. The first thing you need to do is located the tools and your spare tire. In most cars, it is located in the trunk beneath the carpeted base of the trunk. The spare tire is usually held in by a retaining screw and once you remove that screw, your spare tire should pull out. The jack and lug nut wrench is also located in this area.
