Walk Behind Spreader Adjustments

In this segment, we' going to talk about the way you set the rate on these types of spreaders. Most of the dry products, whether it be a lawn fungicide or herbicide or fertilizer. A lot of times they'll have a chart on them that tells you where to set the gate according to the numbers on this dial right here. Starts off at basically zero, goes to ten, fifteen, twenty, and so on up. And in order to set it, you got a little arrow right here. If you want it set on fifteen, you would move it up to fifteen to where fifteen would be in line with this side of the lever. and that would be the setting for a material that was to be applied at that rate. And then you would get your swath down so that you are covering the area but not overlapping too much, and not skipping a place.
