Alright, now the graining is dried out a little bit, we can touch it with our hands and rub it and it feels good, it feels smooth. We're still fairly level but now we need to apply a little more surface lacquer and what this does, again, it seals it. It's combining all the layers of finish we built up. Now we got the filler in there, we've got the first base coat; we've got the lacquer, that's protected that, now we've got the graining. This will also give us a really good idea of how we are doing on our coloring. Trying to make this repair disappear. Again, we just want to mist just a little bit on, not in a concentrated area. Now I want to hit this other divot over here also, so I'm just going to be put a little bit on it and then we're going to let that dry. And as that's drying, you can kind of see the color but you want to look both ways, to make sure you've got it. The one problem you will have is, when you look at grain and the wood it changes color, when you go from one angle to another. You probably see that. One way, you'll see the divot better and then another way, it may just disappear and that's something you have to live with. You just can't make everything perfect but you try to get a combination of the colors and work them in. If you can do that, for the most part, you're going to fool somebody into repairing the damage to where you can't see it with the visible eye. So we're going to let that dry and then we'll get right back to it.
