That's dried enough, now we're ready to apply some graining, and again this is where we have to be careful. We want to mix a little bit of black, with some dark brown, try to come up with a color real close to where the original grain is in the wood. The closer we are now the better it's going to look in the end. Just keep holding it up to your sample, checking it out. You don't want to get to dark, but you definitely don't want to be to light. Again, I'll try several little sample areas before I get the color that I want. Sometimes I'll take these two color samples, and mix them together even, and get a little combination. Maybe put these on first, and these on second. So again this is just the prepping, getting ready to do the graining. We're applying a little bit of black, with a little bit of the dark brown. If we needed to, we could add a little bit of red if we wanted. Right now, what's it's looking like to me is the black and the dark brown, and those are the colors that I'm going to kind of stick with. That will be the next thing we do, is put the graining in.
