Mixing Color Powder for Wood Scratch Repair

Okay, again, what we're doing now is we've got our assorted colors out here. We're trying to look and compare. We've got one more box we may need to also get into. So we're going to bring them all out here. We're going to start taking some of the dry powder and start mixing it with the liquid, liquid lacquer, and that becomes a stain in and of itself. We're going to add just a touch of red. You want to be careful of these colors. A little bit goes a long way. And then we're just going to gently, with the grain again, start covering up the divot. This is what's called your base color we?re trying to get a foundation. And you just want to put on just as sparingly as you can. Keep the area small. Once you get that in there, and it looks good, and you kind of blend the color, you want to stop.
