So the first high five that we are going to get into is the traditional high five, otherwise known as the Old English. I'm pretty sure when I was studying high fives abroad, if I remember correctly the first instance of the high five, the little hand is sure that the first instance of the high five was in the cave man days. The day they invented a wheel, was the day they did the first high five. But its grossly overshadowed by the invention of the wheel. The traditional high five is very basic, its just a one handed to one handed, meet in the middle sort of high five. You have to be very mindful of the cupping of the hand. High fives are never flat handed. Never flat handed. You need to have that little pocket to collect the air. The air comes together causing the boom. Traditional high fives are used in every major sporting event, every major sporting event viewing. And pretty much all over the world. Anywhere, somebody is really excited.
