Test Glue Before Using it on Clothing

Hi, I'm Robin with treesmom.com, making a video for Expert Village today on how to embellish your t-shirts and sweatshirts with jewels. If you decide to glue your jewels on, you're going to need to do a test area first. There are some materials that it might dissolve and melt the material. So, you just want to make sure that it's going to work with whatever shirt that you have chosen. And a good way to do that is to get the inside of the shirt right down on the hem, and just put a little spot of glue right down on the hem side, on the inside of the shirt. That way, if it kind of eats through it, it won't show and you can still wear the shirt again. And again, this is just to make sure that the glue is going to be compatible with whatever the material, your t-shirt, or your button down shirt, whatever you've chosen to use... is to make sure it's compatible with it and that it's going to work.
