Adjusting Sound Levels on a Drum Machine

So, now you've got your basic beat. You've got your bass drum, your snare drum, your hit hat and symbol, some auxiliary percussion. And, even a synth line. Next, you?re going to want to adjust the sound levels according to how you want this beat to sound. So, you're going to play through the neat that you've made. Ok, now you see how it sounds. Alright. So, you're going to play your beat. Using the specific volume knob, you're going to turn down different parts of the beat. I kind of want the synth sound to be a little low, it's too loud right now. I definitely want the auxiliary percussion lower. You don't want to be the highlight of your beat. And, I kind of want the hi hat and the symbol sound to be a little bit higher so you can recognize it more. And, I'm going to leave the bass and snare drums as they are. And, this is what it sounds like now.
