So, you've selected your bass drum, your snare, your hi hat and symbol. And, you've recorded and you've got your basic beat. Now, you want to add some auxiliary percussion. You want to add a sounds that's going to make your beat a little crazy, a little whacky. Add some whacky sounds to your beat, ok. Well, typically drum machines come with a lot of auxiliary percussion choices on here. Because, they're instruments that not a lot of people have in their home. So, you can really get creative and unique with your beats by adding to it. So, you're going to go scroll through your drum machine for different auxiliary percussion sounds. The cowbell, sleigh bells, shakers, cabezas, whistles, gymbez, random space noises. And, these are some of my favorites. The reverse drum, this is a reverse bass drum. Reverse crash symbol. And, since we are making a hip hop beat. Of course, you have the scratch. I'm going to use this scratch. And, now you're going to add it to your beat. So, you're going to play your beat. Select a good position for it. Hit record and here you go.
