Picking a Hi Hat Rhythm for a Drum Machine

So, you've selected the bass drum. You've selected your snare drum. You've chosen a rhythm. And, finally you've selected a hi hat sound. Next, you're going to want to add the hi hat sound to you beat that you already have. So, you're going to want to play the beat that you have. See how the hi hat sounds with this. And, select a rhythm that goes with it. So, I'm going to hit record and play. As you can see, it's playing the beat through. When it starts back here at the beginning of the measure, I'm going to start recording the hi hat sound. And, now that you've done that you have three drum parts in your song. And, it sounds something like this.
