Picking a Hi Hat Sound on the Drum Machine

So, you have the basic layout for your beat. Which is the bass drum and the snare. You can continue to play that by hitting the play and the pause button. So, next up you want to decide the hi hat you are going to want to use. The hi hat is very important in a beat. It can set the tone of the song. So, this is the hi hat button on this particular drum machine. It's labeled 6A. And, you're going to scroll through with the knob sounding the hi hat sound that sounds right for you. It's important to choose a sound that goes with the basic outline of your beat. So, you're just going to go through. I like this sound right here, it sounds like it would be really good for a hip hop beat. So, this is a good sound. You can press the play button here. It will play the beat that you have already recorded and you can tap the hi hat symbol and you can hear what it's going to sound like with the beat. And, you're on your way.
