Picking a Drum Machine Rhythm

All right. So, you've chosen your bass drum and your snare drum. Now, you want to select the rhythm to the beat. So, let's see. You can just use your imagination and find a sound you like. That can be an example or maybe you just want to use less bass drum and more snare. So, you just have to find the rhythm that suits that sound you want to make and record it. So, by pressing the record button and hitting play. Then, you can record at your own speed. All right. So, you know the rhythm that you want to use for your beat. But, you're having a hard time recording it. Because, when you press the record button you're having a hard time getting it on time. As you can see, the flashing lights that are coming across here, that's the tempo of the song right here. So, you can't get it on the tempo you want. And, it just doesn't sound right to you. Well, you can clear your parts out by pressing the highlighted buttons. And, if you know what measure the beat falls on you can simply type it in manually without recording. So, I know the bass drum is going to fall on one and eleven. Because, I've been practicing the rhythm and that's where I saw it falling on. And, I know the snare is going to fall on five and thirteen. Then, you simply hit record and play. And once I play it, it will already be in the machine. Watch. And, that's how you record your rhythm.
