You may be asking what does organic mean. Organic refers to how a product was produced. As of October, 2002, food labeled organic must meet the criteria under the USDA's guidelines, The National Organic Program. Organic foods are grown and raised without the following: synthetic pesticides, synthetic fertilizers, sewage sludge, genetically modified organisms, radiated products, animals that were the off spring of cloned animals, growth hormones and antibiotics or other drugs. The USDA doesn't define organic with fish or seafoods but other products they do.
