"No Hormones Administered" Food Label

The next food claim we're going to talk about is, No Hormones Administered". Hormones, we generally hear them as testosterone for men or estrogen for women. And some times food producers will give hormones to their cattle's, so that they can leaner and beefier. There is no such thing as a hormone free animal because obviously the cattle produce their own hormones naturally. So, with the food claim "No Hormones Administered", it means that the food producer or the ranchers have decided not to give their cattle hormones and they have kept record of that and they have followed the USDA standards and the FDA standards on the farming practices and on their label practices and they can state that no hormones are given to their beef, the cattle, which has been manufactured into beef. And so, they can put that claim on there "No Hormones Administered". And like I said before, remember there are no such things as hormone free because the cattle does produce its own, their own hormones naturally.
