The USDA & FDA

In order for you to become a responsible consumer, you must first understand who is regulating all of the food production, the manufacturing and the distribution. The two major government agencies who are doing that are the United States Department of Agriculture or the USDA and the Food and Drug Administration, the FDA. You can find both of their websites online. The USDA website is www.usda.gov and the FDA's is www.fda.gov. And as we go through these segments and talk about different terms you can go to their website and check it out for yourself.
