Health & Digestion with Slow Eating

Hi there! Welcome back! I have another tip for you for your healthy digestion of those foods that you bought that are nice healthy foods from your health food store or your supermarket. Another big one is, chew your food. You have all these delicious foods. You have your organic, healthy whole grains. But you know what? Besides having to make sure that they're smaller portions and that you're not having that many liquids with them, you want to make sure you chew them slowly. What's great about this is, is that when you chew your food slowly, you actually end up eating less of it--especially if it's nutrient dense. It actually makes you feel more full, faster. Additionally, when you chew your food, what's great about it is, your whole stomach ends up catching up with your chewing action and it produces digestive juices much better that way. Because if you chew too fast and you eat too fast, your digestive juices don't catch up with it. It doesn't get a chance to digest the food properly. And then you know what? Your nutrients are out the door; They're not being absorbed and it's not working for you, and all your healthy food that you've bought, it's not going to work and it's not going to be absorbed. So you want to make sure to chew slowly. I'm not going to say 30 chews, but make sure your food is well chewed down. And obviously down to a nice light mush, that it's going to pretty much be predigested before it gets to your digestion. You'll love it. You'll feel much better too.
