1/16 Note Drumming Exercise 1

We are now going to do sixteenth notes mixed with quarter notes. In this exercise we have one-E-and ah two, three, four. It is very important to separate the quarter notes accordingly. You do not want to play them like eighth notes like one-E-and ah two, three, four. You got to think one-E-and ah two-E-and ah three and a four-E-and ah one-E-and ah two-E-and ah three and h four-E-and ah. You can say it out loud just like that. You could also say one-E-and ah two and three and four and. whatever works for you. Again tap your foot on the quarter notes which are the numbers one, two, three, four. One-E-and ah two, three, four. One-E-and ah two-E-and ah three and ah four-E-and ah one-E-and ah two, and three, and four and one-E-and ah two, three, four. With the metronome this exercise goes three, four, one-E-and ah two, three, four. one-E-and-ah two, three, four. One-E-and ah two, three, four. One-E-and ah two, three, four.
