1/8 Note Drumming Exercise 4

In this exercise, we're going to do a full measure of eighth notes. And, we say one and two and three and four and. I'm just going to out the metronome on and just play along. Stay with me now. One and two and three and four. One and two and three and four. One and two and three and four. One and two and three and four. One and two and three and four. One and two and three and four. Now, with the left hand. One and two and three and four. One and two and three and four. Now, these exercises aren't so much for playing the drums as they are for learning to read the music. So, when you're playing these watch the music. Keep reading it from beginning to end. Stay with it so you can see with your eyes and follow so you know which note you're on. And, that's going to help go a long way for when you're reading more complicated music. And, and have to move quickly and move through a piece. So, again don't just memorize it and just play it. Look at it, count one and two and three and four. And, watch the notes go by. And, keep repeating over and over again. Do this with all exercises.
