Cutting Left Side of Hair for A-Line Haircuts

Hi, I'm Casey and I'm with Elements University. I'm here on behalf of Expert Village. In this segment I'm going to show you how to cut the left section of the hair cut. In our previous section we went ahead and we cut the right section now I'm going to move on to the left section. Again making sure that I'm combing the hair from the roots down making sure that it does not buckle. I'm going to blend the back section with my side section. On this side I'm going to do the same thing and my hand (my fingers) have to be my guide as to how steep my A line is going to end up being. I'm going to comb down the next section and I want to make sure that this right here at this point, I'm going to make sure it's my longest point. What I'm going to do I'm going to recomb and make sure that everything connects. I'm going to do any clean up work that I need to do. When you're doing this you definitely want to make sure that your hair is coming straight exactly where you want it to fall. You don't want any pieces of your hair to kind of zigzag towards the forward or zigzag towards the back. Because once they go to comb it straight you are going to have these little tiny hairs that are sticking out. Again I'm just going to come in and I'm going to free hand if they have any little hairs that are out. Stay tune for our next segment which I'm going to do the final check before we dry.
