Cutting Right Side of Hair for A-Line Haircuts

Hi I'm Casey and I'm with Elements University and I'm here on behalf of Expert Village and in this segment I'm going to show you how to cut the right section of our A line haircut. So in a previous segment I went ahead and I cut all the back section of my haircut, now I'm ready to connect this back to my side. Again like I was saying earlier I don't want to go any shorter than what I have right here as far as my length, so what I'm going to do, is I'm going to make sure that I comb everything from the roots down. Make sure that it's completely straight. Now at this point I really don't have anything to go from as far as a guide except from my length here to my length here. So it's all going to be based on my hand angle and I'm going to start from the back on this side, and I'm going to angle my fingers as far forward as I can. I'm just going to cut my side in the same angle that my hand is. I'm just going to move forward. I'm just going to re comb it to make sure everything connects. So what I'm doing is I'm bringing my back section into my side section, I'm just going to clean up those stray hairs. I'm just bringing it down to make sure it's at a steep enough angle as I want it and I think I'm going to come just a little bit more right here. I'm going to re comb everything and I'm just going to go forward once again to make sure that everything connects. You want to do that every time you take a little bit off on this side or any side, you want to make sure that you re comb all the way down to the front to make sure that everything connects. If you have to you can even come in and free hand it too. Stay tuned for our next segment and I'm going to show you how to cut the left section of the haircut.
