Diaper Bags as Baby Shower Gift Idea

Welcome to Expert Village. I'm Gretchen Soares and today we're going to do How to Shop for a Baby Shower Gift. Another great gift to get when you're looking for the parent, or more for the mother, is a specialty diaper bag. There are some absolutely beautiful diaper bags out now that are so much fun to carry. I actually still carry mine as a purse because it's so beautiful. One thing to look for when you're looking for something like this: the ones that convert to a backpack or a purse are great. You have a lot of different carrying options and it's a lot easier to carry a backpack, when you're still carrying an infant carrier or a carrying a baby in your arms that it is, for say, a purse. Another thing you want to look for when you're buying a diaper bag is that it has adequate space inside. So these ones are really big; Lots of space inside with different pockets. Pockets are great because you can get organized and put things in places. Otherwise everything just falls to the bottom of the bag and you get lost. These ones come with a changing pad also, which is really nice. Having a changing pad when you're out and about is a must. Another great thing to look for is one that zips close, because if you just have the snap, they tend to come open easily. Zipped close means all the goodies are going to stay inside. So this is one great one. It's a large almost kind of like an everyday diaper bag. Different colors, it comes in all different colors. This is a smaller one, which would be just like a quick outing diaper bag, not an all day one. It's smaller. Again, it has a good size inside with lots of pockets. Not nearly as big as this, but again, this is a shorter term one. And this is a little dressier, so maybe a quick outing to a party or something where you just want to be a little dressier.
