How to Catalog a Book Collection

Hi I'm Eric Bosse. I'm with the Aldridge Bookstore. There just becomes a point when book collectors begin to catalog their books to keep a list of what they have. They might be doing this for purposes of insurance, maybe it's just so they have a better idea of what they own, and what they are looking for. Maybe they like having this catalog so they can print it up and take this list with them when they go to bookstores or book shows and see what it is they are missing from their collection, or what it is that they have a book of a lesser condition and they want to improve what they've got on their shelves, they want the basic information and sort of as a templates you can look at basically how books are listed bibliographies or maybe get a book dealers catalog or something. Be able to see how they go about dealing with the basic information. The author, the title, the publisher, publication dates, the additions. Weather or not it has a dust jacket. The condition the book is in, the price paid for it, the current market value of the book.
